Kusadasi

kusadasi-beach-photo-003 Kusadasi was a fishermen’s town and a fruit-growing rural district until the first holiday apartments were built in the 1970s. Kusadasi then grew into a small resort town with holiday flats. These were built as housing co-operatives, membership sold to families in big cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Denizli. Kusadasi grew into the centre of mass tourism that we have today, from the mid 1980s onwards.

The town is situated in the Aegean Region of Turkey and only 44 miles (71km) from Aydin city centrum and 59 miles (95km) from izmir which is known as the pearl of the Aegean and also the  3rd largest city of  the country.
